Company Background

In 1970, C. Maurice Thorne and Cecil Williams formed Yu-Al Inc., selling and installing Raynor garage doors and Genie operators. In 1971, the pair was approached by the Overhead Door Corporation and offered the opportunity to assume the company's Southwest Florida distributorship.

In 1978, Cecil left Yu-Al, Inc. and Overhead Door Company of Ft. Myers to form the Overhead Door Company of Naples under the auspices of his newly created venture, TEVE, Inc.

In 1982, Cecil purchased 100% of the Overhead Door Company of Ft. Myers.

In July of 2005, Casey Pacetti, Drew Williams and Bob Van Arnam, all of whom had managed the daily operations of TEVE, Inc.'s various Overhead Door Company branches since the 1990s, purchased the company from Cecil Williams.

Bob Van Arnam and Casey Pacetti have earned accreditation from the Institute for Dealer Education and Accreditation (IDEA). Currently, only eight other door dealers in the State of Florida have obtained such accreditation.
